Dear Karen, I do apologise for the delay in thanking you for conducting the service for my Daughter (neice) on Thursday 25th March. Things are gradually getting back to some form of normality. They do say that time heals, I do hope so. I was unaware that my daughter had requested a non religious service, but I wholeheartedly support that decision. After spending some time in the services 1946-83, I have come to the conclusion that all forms of warfare and general insurgency are based on conflicting religious beliefs, and I cannot condone that. Thank you for making the service a pleasant experience, I realise how difficult it is to talk about someone, especially when the information has to be gleaned from many others. I believe I told you that I have given many eulogies, one at a humanist service, but I was so grateful that I did not have to speak about my own daughter. My best wishes for the future Kind Regards Pete
Major P Martin MBE
Dear Karen, It is time for me to thank you so much for the beautiful service you arranged for Rick. It was like nothing I have witnessed at any funeral. You made it so personal I felt you knew him and so many people have remarked on the service, in fact our children have made arrangements to have this service when arranging their funerals. Thank you once again.
Hi Karen, thank you so much for conducting M’s funeral service yesterday – you made a really difficult day so much more bearable. The number of comments I received in the day saying what a lovely service it was and how personal it was, with a number of people asking if you’d actually known him. Thank you for the document too, although it is still very raw at the current time I’m sure in time I’ll find this a great comfort. Thank you once again, it was a real pleasure to meet you.
Hi Karen thank you for a lovely service on Friday. You certainly did my Dad proud. Everyone commented on how nice the service was and a fitting tribute to Jack. Giggles could be heard at the mention of some his antics. We continued to celebrate his life in the pub afterwards, a party he would have been very sad to have missed!!!! Thank you for sending on the copy of the eulogy. I have read it a few times now. I keep singing the Elton John tracks too. The final readings are so my Dad it is lovely to keep re-reading them. Thank you again for your care and support at this very sad time for us all.
Dear Karen, We would just like to thank you for the beautiful, compassionate and sincere service you gave for E/Mum. Thank you for the time you spent with our family researching Mum’s life, it was truly reflected in your service. We laughed and cried and are so grateful that we have the privilege of you leading our farewells to Mum. Karen you are a truly kind and sincere lady and are a great credit to your profession. Much love and thanks, and a massive thank you with love and best wishes.

Hello Karen, Let me thank you once again for officiating at my brother’s Funeral. You did an excellent job in both the chosen ‘readings’ and the “eulogy” of my brother’s life, covering as much ground as was possible in the time allowed. It was very well conducted in the manner befitting the sad situation of his untimely death. Now things are more settled I would very much like a copy of the complete script you compiled, read and referred to during the Funeral proceedings. My nephew had this script handed to him after the service, and said it was possible to obtain more copies via email. Could you please furnish me with a copy at above email address. Thanking you once again on a job very well done.
Karen, many thanks for the beautiful service which you prepared and led for Pam, you conducted it in the way that she would want. Many of Pam’s Yoga friends thought that you had know Pam personally because your words and readings were so apt. Thank you also for reading my Euology which I felt unable to do. We appreciate the way you helped us to have a pleasant memory of a sunny afternoon with people in bright colours saying a final goodbye. Finally thank you for the copy of the service. I have read it through several times and gained comfort from you words.
I just wanted to thank you on behalf of the family, for the funny, insightful and thoughtful service you conducted for my mum MG, last Friday 20th June in Middlesbrough. She would, I’m sure, have enjoyed it. I know you said you could send more copies of the service if required, if so, please could you email it to me so that I can give a copy to those who would like one? Many thanks and all the very best,
Arrived back in Birmingham safe and sound :0)
Thank you so much for sending me a copy of the service that you put together for my mam, the story that you told was amazing and lots of people commented in person and by messages on my facebook on how lovely the service was.
You are fantastic at your job and deserve a well earned pat on the back, it was a pleasure to meet you and I cannot thank you enough. Thank you so much from the bottom of my heart.
Thank you so much Karen you did a wonderful job with all the information we gave you and so many people commented on the service and how they enjoyed it . You really captured the essence of P. Many thanks.
Just a word to thank you very much indeed on behalf of myself, M and the family for the way in which you presented C’s life at the Ceremony on 6th May. Everyone to whom I have spoken since then has said what a happy occasion it was and we all came away without a deep feeling of sadness, but rather one of joy. Had C been physically present, and knowing his sense of humour, he would have come up with some wry remark (!!) but really I think he would have approved. M and I both feel we were remiss in not personally inviting you back afterwards – but hope that you would realise that the invitation you extended to those gathered, also included you.
Thank you once again,
Thank you so much for forwarding the memorial celebratory service of our dear friend PP. It is a lovely tribute to his life and achievements. I will forward it to our daughters in the U.S.A. and Tasmania. Like us, they were very fond of P and of course, L.
Our sincere thanks,
Thank you again for the service today. It was spot on for Peter! On our way home we were thinking of even more memories than those we had shared with friends at the Bluebell! Thank you sending the Commemoration which I will email to our daughter and son as sadly, they were unable to attend the service.
Hello there Karen,
Just a quick word of thanks for your key contribution to Dad’s sending-off on Friday. Everyone who spoke to me thought it was a personal and fitting farewell. To quote one of his close neighbours: “Just what Nev would have wanted. No bloody mumbo jumbo”
That’ll do me.
Many thanks for a lovely service, your words reflected dad’s life beautifully, what a good job you did after a couple of hours of getting to know his life story.
Once again many thanks and best wishes,
